In this role, Wally is responsible for the camping programs and camp properties of Three Harbors Council. Wally provides leadership to the Cub Scout summer programs at Camp Oh-Da-Ko-Ta and Indian Mound Scout Reservation. Wally leads the Camp Rangers and supports the Council Properties Committee and volunteer work crews on camp maintenance and capital improvements. Wally serves as the Staff Advisor to the Council Program Cabinet, Properties Committee, Camping Committee, Shooting Sports Committee, Cope & Climbing Committee and Health & Safety Committee. Wally also serves as the staff leader for Youth Protection and as Staff Advisor for the 2020 Council Camporee, Summit 2020 Contingent and the World Jamboree and National Jamboree contingents. | Personal Background:
A graduate of Penn State University with and a Bachelors degree in Recreation & Parks with a minor in Forestry. He continued his education by earning a Masters of Science degree in Human Services from Murray State University, Murray, KY. Wally began his professional career with the Boy Scouts of America in 1989. He began his Scouting adventure as a Webelos and went on to earn his Eagle in Pittsburgh, PA. Wally enjoys camping, hiking, and backpacking in his free time. | |
