DATES: Participants must attend both sessions to complete the merit badge

LOCATION: William J. Russell Sea Base  
2454 S. Lincoln Memorial Drive, Milwaukee

TIME: Clinic Runs 6:30pm – 8:30 pm

COST: $6.00 per Scout. limited to 25 participants

PRE-REQUISITES: Have passed the BSA swim test or have Swimming Merit Badge

ITEMS TO BRING:

•    Signed merit badge card  & merit badge book
•    Swimsuit & change of clothes (water tends to be cool so bring warm clothes)
•    A life jacket is recommended (will be provided for those who do not have one)
•    Canoes & equipment will be provided

NOTE: Participants will receive on shore and on the water instruction.The on the water training will be done in the South Shore yacht basin of Lake Michigan from the Sea Base.  Weather permitting, the participants will need to do a canoe rescue. This process can cause the participant to get wet and may result in the swamping of the canoe. The class will be held regardless of the weather as the indoor facility will be used in case of rain.
